I’ve been researching multi-master replication for my Rails applications. I’ve been interested in the idea ever since reading about it in “Q&A: The adventures of scaling, Stage 1”. However one aspect that I never understood was how one actually configured a Rails application to take advantage to take advantage of such a setup, or even a master-slave setup. So I decided to do some research on the subject.
